Turmeric Tops

Happy Friday!

So I'm still without a camera, and yes it's really irking me. :-/
BUT! I've decided to not allow that detail to keep me from at least sharing one of the tops that I made from the muslin fabric I dyed last month.  So, I've been employing my not-so-great cell phone to take pictures.

I've made three, and this is my absolute favorite!

It's unfortunate that the camera on the phone is apparently incapable of capturing the design of the dye on the blouse, but the image in the corner gives you an idea of what it looks like, since that's the exact fabric used to make this garment.

Here's another style along with a image of the fabric it's made from:

Now this is super comfortable and such a great, classic style of blouse.  This particular style could work for women as well as men.

And this third style is much like the first, but the sides are square rather than flared.
All of these are dyed with turmeric, which is an herb known for its amazing healing properties.  It's used medicinally as an anti-inflammatory agent and antioxidant and assists in the treatment of cancer, arthritis, bronchitis, skin conditions, fibromyalgia, and so much more.  Additionally, the color yellow represents Life Force!!     It also aids in health conditions concerning the stomach, intestines, and nerves.

These blouses are made from 100% organic cotton, which is extremely breathable and healthy for the planet.  I feel really good about this new line and look forward to adding even more pieces.

These will soon be listed here and on Etsy in a range of sizes.

I'm going to work at getting better and more shots one way or another, but I'm pleased to even have the ones I've managed to get!

Hope you have a great weekend.  I'll be back with more soon…

I love the cut of the first top. There is just something about it. Structure with freedom.
