Dress! It's similar to ones I've made before with the same navy blue fabric but with its own flavor.
Below is a close-up of the lace detail at the waist with more orange peeping through. Slowly but surely I'm finding ways to uses pieces from my lace stash.

That's pretty much it. I was preparing to go out and partake

I'm gonna go enjoy some of this 68 degree weather. It's so nice for it to finally not be so cold.
For your listening/viewing pleasure, here's a video from Les Nubians, "Solide." Unfortunately I couldn't find lyric translation, but maybe you can still appreciate the essence of the song.
Wishing everyone a beautiful week!!!
peace.

Is that the same blue from the corduroy dress I'm always ogling? I really like it.
Hey if you want an excuse to play with lace, Work Your Soul blog challenge theme is 'Victorian'...
I love Les Nubians; Temperature Rising w/ Talib Kweli is on my mp3 right now!
Enjoy your week...
I like the combo blue and white. Defo. And Les Nubians? You had me grooving there, dear :-).
Greetings from London.
I am a big fan of lace, I think you used it beautifully. We have been having some nice weather this week too. I ventured outside for a while and enjoyed the warm breeze.
I love Les Nubians. Thanks for posting that song. The dress is fabulous, I love the orange peeking out from the bottom.
very lady like...
I LOVE the bright pop of color under your dress - perfect - keep doing it!
The hint of color coming through the lace spices it up. I love the orange color popping through the bottom as well.
The lentil/spinach dish sounds delicious.
Love that dress, very party-y :)
