Well, turns out that I like these little minis as dresses.
I think they're quite spiffy. :-)

On another note, in a former life I must have been a midwife or something of that nature, because I have a major fascination with the process of conception and birth. I've got books on it. Love to watch films about it. Love to hear stories about it. Everything. I've never been pregnant or had a child, but I am so moved by just the thought of it all.
Has anyone else seen this film? I first saw it around this time last year when there was a screening at the local university and saw it again recently when I found a copy at the library. It's pretty compelling. To me anyway. You can check out the trailer on their site:

Theme: A pair of anything
Two very tired, poorly seeing eyes...

I know my presence on the blog has been a bit minimal as of late. Last week I was hit with an astounding revelation: I've outgrown and am not pleased with my current situation/environment/existence, and therefore it all needs to be changed. Lately I've been figuring out how I'm gonna go about doing that. And it's gotta be done soon, cause it feels like I'll burst into pieces if it doesn't.

I saw that film near the end of last year, I believe. I enjoyed it and agreed with much of what was discussed. I'm going to be training to get my doula certification hopefully starting in May. So I'm elated about that.
i was thinking about calling you last week but something happened. i feel you 100% regarding the need for change. i've been having dreams, signs, and other messages that point to the same thing.
I have seen the film. There was another film I saw regarding global birth customs that completely blew me away. I watch a lot of childbirth and conception docs with Yael-getting that healthy body image stuff in there is no easy task.
Growing pains? Lots of that going on, I think it fits in well with the rebirthing theme of Spring. Good luck.
Love the eyes pic-you have great brows. (I'm a brow watcher, Tupac's are amongst my faves)Thanks for playing along.

YES!
Midwifery might just be the change you are looking for/need in your life/extra push in finding true happiness or a certain part of yourself that you haven't met yet. I too love pregnancy and birth and all the joy that comes along with it. A few of my friends are either expecting or either have infants and I am so envious. I long for another. Miss J does too, as you know, she becomes bored out of her mind here with mom, lol. But who knows, since this is an area that you are passionate about it could develop into a fulfilling side hustle.
The movie sounds intriguing. And you have beautiful eyebrows as was already pointed out.
Hope you can make some changes to give you some breathing room. At least you're in touch with your feelings and aware that something has to change.
Got something special over at my blog for you.
Cute dress, awesome photo and I haven't seen the movie. I have 3 children and being pregnant was the most awesome thing in the world. I loved every single minute of it and would do it again in a second....except that I'm 57 and it might not be a good thing or even possible! HAHA!
Hey, those minis are naughty ;-) But I love them.
You're still in your Maxwell mood and I am soaking it up.
Greetings from London.

Look at you rocking that mini dress. Oh what I would do for a pair of legs like yours. Right - I need to work out. Onto other news - I have not seen that film but have heard great things about that. And you do know that Spring is the season of change. So make your changes girlie.
