...In the Balance

I really do miss blogging (on all levels) the way I once did. Lately I've been so out of the loop.

I'm still in deciding, concluding, changing my mind, and re-deciding mode. It's driving me crazy while simultaneously preventing me from really being productive.

Soon I'll be doing an "eeny, meeny, miny, moe" as it relates to this matter of a new place of residence for myself. And also soon I'm gonna just get in my car and go. That's what it's coming to. I've enjoyed being back home, but you know how you get that feeling that lets you know it's time?? Well, I got that feeling recently, and I know it's time for me to go.

Really, though, this isn't a sad post. It's a happy one. So much is possible. I just have to tune in and tap in. :-)

peace!!

Hey Tie, first things that came to mind after reading your post and then singing "times a wastin" and visualizing your contemplation.
1. get clear before your circutances determine your decision.
2. that's the process of the creative mind, analyzation.
3. what's holding you back?

ahh yes! clarity is certainly key. sometimes i'm clear. other times i'm not.

honestly nothing is holding me back. 'cept me, i guess. :-O

my mom and cousins have been on my case for the last few weeks saying,"you don't have any children or really any obligations, so what's the problem?" but i can't make 'em understand.

do *i* even understand?

hmmm....

(i need to email you...)

I am so sorry about taking my dear sweet time getting back to you on the email that you sent me. I have been in a zone these days (my house is nearly clean, lol). I'm gonna reply this week...

Do whatever you feel in your heart. Who knows, maybe you'll hit the road, stop for glass someplace along the way and like it ;)

mrs. bar b.--no worries!! i've consulted a few other people, and i know you've been taking some time for yourself. :-D

i like that sorta no strings approach to the matter.

I agree somehow with cut2clothe about getting clear before your circumstances determine your decision. This is so easy to happen, before we notice it.And it would be a pitty, because I'm sure your heart knows the answer. You just have to firmly listen to it.
And,you know what your relatives are right, after all you don't have children or other strings attached. You see, sometimes that really comes in handy!
I'm looking forward to your next post :)...as always and in the meanwhile I send you a kiss, kiss :)!

Yes, I totally understand this feeling of it being time to go. I'm ready to depart Atlanta. Everyday something tells me to pack it up. I've begun selling my household items on ebay and craigslist. So far it's going well. My house will be small enough to fit in on pod when it's all said and done.

...whew, we are on parallel paths...I too am thinking about moving to Atlanta, in June when Mini is done with school...I have friends who moved there from the NYC...I don't really want to live where they live, too suburban so I'm going down in Oct. to search for just the right area for me and Mini...I'm scared, nervous, will I like it...will I flow in the ATL? I don't know...but I read this quote and it kinda put a little fire under me...I hope it does the same for you..."Progress always involves risk; you can't steal second base and keep your foot on first..."
